Autumn Term 2018
This week is cooking week and the children will be making cakes and we will eat them altogether when we have juice bar.
Monday - plain sponge cakes.
Tuesday – raisin cakes
Wednesday – cherry cakes
Thursday – lemon cakes
Friday – chocolate cakes
Please could those parents/carers who have not paid the £20 cooking money for the year see Miss Taylor.
If your child has any food allergies, please speak to staff. Thank you.
Last week the children were building towers using different construction materials, they compared sizes - tallest, shortest, biggest, smallest, the same and they put towers in order of height. Lots of counting!
We practised our fire drill twice last week. The children were told that they would hear a very loud bell but it was the teachers setting it off and they lined up and followed the teachers to our designated place and then shouted “Yes!” as their name was called out. They did really well, we had no tears and the children were reminded not to run. Well done everyone!
On Friday 12th October (the day we break up for half term) it is “wear it pink day” to raise money for breast cancer. Please give generously! If everyone could donate a pound that would be fabulous. Breast cancer touches so many of
